Arctech Glass Ltd. located in Surrey, BC is looking for the suitable individual for Construction helper for its Surrey, BC location.
Job Description
Work Location:Â Surrey, BC
Language: English
Work Hours: 35-40 hours per week
Wages: $24.00 CAD per hour
Duration of Job: Full time, Permanent
Job Duties:
Follow all workplace safety procedures and use protective equipment.
Load and unload glass panels, frames, and hardware at job sites.
Assist installers in measuring, polishing, and preparing glass and metal materials and accessories.
Help install glass railings, partition walls, privacy screens and enclosures.
Hold and secure materials during installation.
Apply sealants, gaskets, and spacers under supervision.
Operate basic hand and power tools used in installation.
Assist with lifting and moving materials using hands or lifting tools.
Clean and prepare glass surfaces and work areas.
Remove old or broken glass and construction debris.
Deliver construction materials from / to job sites to manufacturer.
Employment requirements
Minimum High School Education
Minimum 6 months working experience as construction helper.
Valid Class 5 driver’s licence
